“Improve your well-being, Naturally, with regular Reflexology”

What is Reflexology and how does it work?

Reflexology is a complementary therapy involving the application of specific pressure techniques to reflex points on the patient’s feet, hands or ears, which correspond to all glands, organs, systems and parts of the body. This practice treats the individual holistically (incorporating body, mind & spirit) and works to restore balance by facilitating the body’s own healing potential.

What are the benefits of Reflexology?

Reflexology helps to restore and maintain the body’s health by treating the root cause of disease or dysfunction rather than the symptoms. The treatment brings about a deep state of relaxation, which enables all body systems to work more effectively by:

  • Improving circulation
  • Stimulating nerve function
  • Eliminating toxins
  • Improving sleep patterns
  • Increasing energy levels
  • Relieving stress and pain
  • Speeding up recovery after injury or surgery
  • Normalising blood pressure

Can Reflexology cure a condition?

Reflexology does not cure but can help restore balance and promote the body to heal itself. In conjunction with a healthy lifestyle, it may be helpful to anyone suffering from a range of conditions including the following:

·         Insomnia

·         Infertility

·         Loss of libido

·         Joint pain

·         High blood pressure

·         Low blood pressure

·         Stress and anxiety

·         Migraines and headaches

·         Constipation

·         Irritable bowel syndrome

·         Heartburn and indigestion

·         Poor circulation

Who can benefit from Reflexology?

Reflexology can do no harm and is therefore suitable for both men and women of all ages. However, caution is taken with:

  • Those suffering from deep vein thrombosis or internal bleeding
  • Insulin-dependent diabetics
  • Pregnant females (particularly during the first trimester)
  • Sufferers of phlebitis, lymphatic cancer, leukaemia, osteoporosis and epilepsy
