Originally Aquatots Morningside, this swim school became known as Swimtots in 2014- a Swim School focusing on babies, toddlers and special needs children.
It now falls under the Whale of a Time swim school, run by Jana Senekal, mother of two who has been teaching for 17 years and also trained under the pioneer of infant swimming -Nell White. All teachers stay current with research in the pediatric swimming world and have regular training sessions to ensure that each baby and child reaps the benefits of learning through play in the water.
We believe that water is an extension of a child’s natural environment and that each infant can learn to be more safe in and around the pool using the appropriate milestones achieved on land. Learning through games, songs and fun activities.
